ATEC drive shaft joints – Product description

Drive shaft joints are – as the name suggests – part of the drive shaft. The joints are the direct connection between the drive shaft and the wheels of your car. The rotary motion resulting from the power transmission of the shaft is transmitted uniformly in constant velocity joints. This means that there is no difference between the angular velocities of the input and output sides. This not only avoids irregularities in the drive, but also reduces the load on the adjacent parts.

For smooth operation, the sleeves of the drive shaft joints are filled with grease. This rubber sleeve not only keeps the grease in place, but also protects the joint from dirt.

Even though a drive shaft joint is very durable due to its structure, a defect can occur due to the loss of grease. This is then usually due to a tear in the joint cuff. If not too much grease has leaked out yet, it is sufficient to renew only the cuff. However, if you notice symptoms such as too much play when steering or rattling when changing loads, you should get a new drive shaft joint and install it as soon as possible.

With an ATEC drive shaft joint, you can expect a product made of high-quality materials that can withstand the high mechanical loads. Thanks to IATF-16949-certified manufacturing in our own production facilities, ATEC driveshaft joints meet the latest EU standards. Whoever orders an ATEC drive shaft joint can therefore look forward to the best OE quality at a top price/performance ratio.
