Drive shafts

Without the drive shaft, your car could not move at all. Why? Because the drive shaft has an important task to fulfil: it connects the gearbox to the wheels of the vehicle and ensures that power can be transmitted to the road at all. In addition, it must still be able to compensate for all angular and length changes caused by the suspension and steering movement.

Drive shafts are not actually wear parts, as they are very durable due to their design. However, due to external influences, you may need a new drive shaft. For example, the drive shaft joint or its sleeve may have a defect. In this case, the drive shaft can no longer reliably fulfil its task and a replacement must be found. Depending on the defect, you will only have to replace individual components (e.g. joints) or the complete drive shaft.
